ALDO CALO'
In his work, Calò evolved from the Baroque period to more modern influences, moving from post-futurism to a search for abstract expression. Among his formative experiences was his encounter with important masters of contemporary art in Paris, such as Arp, Brancusi, Zadkine, Severini, and Magnelli. During these years, Calò distinguished himself for his ability to blend different languages and materials, from wood to stainless steel, to create works that provoke an aesthetic and psychological reaction in the viewer. His sculptures are characterized by modular forms, composed of cylindrical and curved segments that, according to a carefully studied design, interact with the viewer's sensorial and mental perception.51953826791763
