Biography of Roxana Miclea

"A painter is like the conductor of an orchestra who must coordinate his harmony, so that no instrument can be discordant."
This phrase captures the essence of the art of Roxana Miclea , a self-taught painter born in Hunedoara, Romania, in 1990, who has transformed painting into a language of the soul. Since childhood, drawing and color have been a magical refuge for her, an inner place where reality and dreams meet.

After graduating with a degree in Finance from the Oil and Gas University in Ploiesti, Roxana never abandoned her true calling: art. Since 2004, she has participated in creative groups and projects, exhibiting at local shows, and in 2012, she founded her own business as an independent painter, creating commissioned works.

His artistic research has been fueled by experimentation: from oil to acrylic, from fresco to trompe l'oeil, and even digital art, demonstrating a rare technical mastery and a sensitivity capable of transforming each work into visual poetry. His paintings, influenced by great masters such as Grigorescu, Dalí, Picasso, and Magritte, reveal a personal language that unites figuration and abstraction, waking and dreaming, movement and introspection.

Critics have called her an artist capable of bringing out the ineffable: transfigured emotions that push the viewer to look beyond appearances, toward an intimate and symbolic universe. Themes such as love, seduction, mystery, and spirituality intertwine in pictorial cycles that convey expressionistic strength and lyrical depth.

Over the years, Roxana has received acclaim in international competitions and exhibitions: in 2019 she was selected for PitturiAmo in New York , with publication on Art Now , while some of her works have been chosen as scenography for internationally important theatrical and cinematographic projects.

Today she continues her creative journey with the same passion that has accompanied her since she was a child: giving voice to emotions, transforming the canvas into a visual journey that leads the viewer into a dimension suspended between reality and dream.
